The Alpha Course

Over 27 million people worldwide have now attended an Alpha course, taking the opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed and unpressured social environment.

Alpha is designed for people who are interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. The atmosphere is informal with a provoking talk, then a chance to ask questions and discuss in a small group context.

People come for lots of different reasons and Alpha is ideal for anyone asking questions about faith and interested in exploring ideas. It's also good for new Christians, newcomers to church and those wanting to brush up on the basics. It's totally free and you're not tied into anything.

Date: Alpha started on Wed 4th Oct
Time: 7.30-9.30pm
Book: Book your place on the Alpha Course

We also have a special lunchtime course just for students which began on Monday 25th Sept. It's very much the same feel as the evening course, just over lunchtime, 1-2pm in the Foyer at Woodlands, with lunch provided. You can book your place on Student Lunchtime Alpha here.

Ashlee didn't give God much thought until she was invited to do an Alpha Course. She tells the story of how it changed her life.

A group of friends talk about their experiences with Alpha - how they found it, how it changed them and how it brought them together.
