What is this event about?

Hosted by the Woodlands Church Family and the Burton Sweet Charities Team, this event aims to support you to be an excellent trustee, senior leader, staff member or volunteer of a faith charity. Our speakers and resources will help equip you to make the most of the resources entrusted to your care.

What to expect:

Our experienced speakers, including from the Charity Commission for England and Wales, will share information, resources and insights with a focus on the practical issues facing churches and other faith-purpose and faith-motivated charities. The sessions are:

· Getting the best from your buildings

· Making good use of financial resources

· Working well with volunteers

· Excellence in Trusteeship

· Panel session – for your questions

There will also be an exhibition space during the event where you can meet experts from various organisations for discussion and advice, as well as take the chance to meet and share your experiences with other delegates.
