SOCIAL ACTION

At Woodlands, we want our church family to show God’s love in their actions, both here in the city of Bristol and abroad. When it comes to living a life with Kingdom values, it’s worth thinking seriously about social justice issues, volunteering with local charities or giving financially. We have lots of opportunities for people to consider.

A GLOBAL OUTLOOK

As a church, we have a Global Partnership Fund which supports a network of people with connections to Woodlands to serve around the globe. Our 9.15am congregation are direct supporters of the charity Hands at Work Africa and we love to see our church family go abroad on short-term missions. We are also an IJM Partner Church and are currently raising £5k to fund a Rescue Mission. In addition to that, Love Running has raised £600k for charity.

VOLUNTEERING

A great way to show God’s love to others is by serving and helping organisations and charities who are working to meet the needs of some of the poorest and most vulnerable people in our city.
