Nigel challenged us in his sermon to ask whether we were cup half full or cup half empty people. The Spirit of Poverty is not about actual poverty but relative poverty, poverty of the heart. We can feel poor in time, energy, faith or money. How does Jesus address these issues in his teaching and lifestyle? Jesus once described himself as having nowhere to lay his head.
