October 20th 2019 11am: Winner: Everyone care for the poor. (Galatians 2:9-10)

At Woodlands we believe that the normal Christian life is participation in the cause of Christ. We have this saying for all followers of Jesus, ‘Everyone a witness, everyone a minister, everyone cares for the poor’. So, for us as a Church we ‘win’ when the witness of the Church helps people become followers of Jesus. We win when ordinary Christian men and women step out in ministry in the power of the Spirit. We win when poor and disadvantaged people receive tangible blessing in Jesus name. Download Discussion notes

Winner: Winning Ways - Dave Mitchell

October 13th 2019 7pm: Winner: Winning Ways. (everyone a minister-naturally supernatural) (Ephesians 4:7-16)

After our series ‘Loser’ we are embarking on a month of vision where we want to reinforce some of our key values about living the Christian life well, running the race to win. In the paradox and tension of following Jesus we are both losers and winners as (our September series emphasised). Just as Jesus won a victory by being crucified, there is a victory for us to win!
