The Woodlands Church Family (WCF) is a vibrant, growing family of churches with six sites located across the city of Bristol and a vision to plant more. As we’ve grown, so too has our team, and we have an opportunity within our team for a cleaner.
The position:
General cleaning across all our WCF buildings including Branch at Emmanual Chapel in Henbury, Central in Clifton, Community Church at Albert Place in Westbury-on-Trym, Highgrove Church in Sea Mills. The key area of work for this role is to ensure our WCF buildings are kept clean, presented well and are ready to receive visitors and regulars.
Essentials:
An eye for detail.
Have your own transport.
Be able to work at least some of Monday and Friday.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Relate well with people and consider other activities that might be going on in a building and arrange your cleaning activities around them.
Requirements: This role requires a commitment to be a follower of Jesus and either a member of the Woodlands Church Family or another local church.
Terms
This is a permanent position contracted at 3 days/22hrs 30mins hrs role per week.
Most of your time will be spent at our Central congregation in Clifton but you will also be working at our other sites on some days. The start and finish times will be somewhat negotiable, but they will need to be the same each week. You will also need to be able to work at least some hours on a Monday and a Friday. There may be opportunities for hours to increase as and when we plant other congregations across the city.
This role could potentially be fulfilled by two people job sharing.
The salary for this role £23,400.00 pro rata. The annual holiday entitlement is 25 days pro rata plus 8 days bank holiday pro rata.
