Woodlands Church is a vibrant city church which has an exciting opportunity for someone to join their team as Sports Minister at Children's Church. This essential role will support the Children’s Minister in delivering high quality sports ministry to children on Sunday mornings.
Candidates should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, able to take initiative, work well in a team and be passionate to see children grow in their faith.
The Role
The Sports Minister’s duties will include, for example:
Planning and leading groups working with children aged 7-11
Help support a strong team of volunteers, and resource the different Sunday morning sports ministry.
Working with the children's team to review and develop processes to ensure the ministry continues to grow and has a missional focus in being a space children can invite their friends to.
Previous experience in children's work or ministry is needed and relevant qualifications will be considered.
